A Draft Existing Land Use and Neighborhood Map has been developed for the Comprehensive Plan. The Steering Committee has conducted an initial review of the map at the January Steering Committee Meeting and changes have been made to reflect their comments. Draft Vision and Community Development Objectives have been developed for the Comprehensive Plan. The Vision statement identifies Clairton’s most important values. The purpose of the Community Development Objectives is to provide a basis for goals and objectives. They are broad in scope and reflect the accomplishments the plan aspires to achieve.

Business Survey

A business survey has been developed to identify economic conditions and future opportunities for Clairton. Local business owners are encouraged to take the survey as it will ultimately provide input into the future direction of Clairton. No individual information will be released and only summary findings will be presented in the Comprehensive Plan.
