Heinz Camp Road Superstructure Replacement & Substructure Rehabilitation

This project included superstructure replacement and substructure rehabilitation for a two span (71’ – 71’) bridge carrying Heinz Camp Road over Slippery Rock Creek. The new deck was designed as a partially filled grid reinforced concrete deck with lightweight concrete and redesigned as a conventional lightweight concrete deck during construction. The project included preliminary engineering and final design for the new bridge and minimal approach roadway work. The project is located within the limits of McConnell’s Mill State Park.
