This was the first modern roundabout to be constructed in Western Pennsylvania. The roundabout features a landscaped center island, ADA compliant crosswalks and curb cuts, functional aesthetic lighting, and appropriate directional signing.

I-70/I-79 South Junction, Ramp G-3 Tunnel

This project was a contractor (Golden Triangle) initiated alternative for the design and construction of a box culvert structure to carry an interstate ramp under two existing, four span interstate bridges (open to traffic), allowing the bridges to be removed and replaced with embankment fill to eliminate phased rehabilitation of the bridges and construction of traffic control cross-overs.
