This project involved latex overlays on seven structures, minor structure repairs and preservation, sign upgrading, bituminous resurfacing of 4.5 miles of four lane roadway and interchange ramps on SR-219 in Somerset County. The project also included roadway preservation such as guiderail, shoulder repair, drainage, right-of-way fence, ect. In order to complete the project in one construction season, a Work Zone Safety and Mobility Analysis, maintenance and protection of traffic plan, and a signing and
pavement marking plan was developed and approved.
