Clarion University Residential Housing Site Development

This project involved site development design for two residential housing units with a combined anticipated occupancy of 361 residents on approximately three acres of campus property. The completion of site and grading design included providing vehicular access to the new buildings with avoidance of the anchoring guys for an FM antenna and existing utilities through challenging terrain while still meeting accessible pedestrian walkway requirements, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility coordination. This project achieved a LEED 2.2 – SILVER (34 point). Mackin assisted in providing the mandatory documentation which supported the achievements of the credit requirements and achieving the associated points.
