Campbelltown Connector and Roundabout

Mackin provided preliminary engineering, environmental assessment, final design and construction consultation for the new 6,000 foot-long, two lane roadway that connects Lingle Avenue, Palmyra Road and Forge Road. This alternative route was for local traffic and emergency access for a large area of new residential development. Originally planned as a T-intersection, the western terminus with Forge Road was changed to a roundabout due to vertical airspace conflicts with the adjacent Reigle Field runway. The Public-Private Partnership project was a joint effort between the Developer, South Londonderry Township, PennDOT District 8-0, and the FHWA.
